Product Details
The B case (see also the A [E-0120] and C [E-0122] cases) opens with Shorebank's decision not to pursue Indecorp, though by the end of the case Shorebank is reconsidering its decision. In the meantime, OmniBanc, a relatively small black-owned bank based in Michigan, makes a bid for Indecorp. To gain support for its bid, OmniBanc's public-relations efforts focus on retaining black ownership of the institution. Although the bid is ultimately unsuccessful, it raises the question of who should lend in the African American community.
