Approximately two months after agreeing to join the Mega Corporation board, Wright received a package of material for his first board meeting, which was to be held immediately after the annual meeting at which he was to be elected. This is the second case in a series of cases about corporate governance. It is a revision of UVA-OM-1084 and can be used in its place. The case is used in Darden's "Corporate Governance" course elective.
