The dean of a publicly funded hospital has to respond to complaints about the services provided by the cafeteria within the campus run by the Medical Superintendent’s son. The dean must balance needs between the many stakeholders’ needs while navigating nepotism, social castes, and the varying forms of power and influence within the hospital.
